We understand that projects can change at the drop of a hat, and that’s okay. Our flexible and accommodating approach to all projects ensures that you maintain complete control and pace at every step of the relationship. Since 2013 we have continuously operated from our office in Surbiton delivering projects both locally and nationally. Just a short walk from Surbiton train station and easy access to the A3, here we are placed well to service London, Surrey and the South Coast.

Simon Allen BEng (Hons) CEng MIStructE

Principal Structural Engineer and Founder

Simon is a Chartered Structural Engineer with considerable practical site-based construction and design consultancy experience. Simon founded Structure Consult in 2013 and has continued to develop and support an impressive Client base, which continues to grow organically.

Simon has been responsible for the completion of a considerable number of projects ranging in construction value up to six million pounds covering the domestic, super-prime residential, industrial, and commercial project sectors. Having a practical site-based background and direct experience of working on traditional build, timberframe, SIP and volumetric construction projects. Simon is well qualified to provide practical design solutions to suit most project requirements or physical building constraints.

Simon is a sincere and knowledgeable engineer who endeavours to meet the specific needs of the project brief, whilst keeping on budget.

Marta Malinowska Bsc, Msc

Senior CAD Technician

Marta has over nine years of experience as a Senior CAD Technician. Having previously studied and practised structural engineering, Marta decided to focus her skills on the draughting and detailing of projects. Marta’s background allows her to understand the full design process and affords her a unique insight into the finer details of the construction works.

Marta is a highly adaptable and organised technician, which allows the team to meet the often-tight project deadlines while ensuring the quality of drawing information is to a high standard.

Away from the office, Marta enjoys spending time with her young family and keeping healthy.

Jan Poltock BEng (Hons) CEng MICE MIStructE

Consultant

Jan is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with extensive industry experience. Simon and Jan have known each other for over fifteen years and Jan assists occasionally as needed with project workload.
